Happy Pest Control started in the early 90’s by Steve Coy in Pleasanton California. At that time, Steve was operating multiple routes with two other technicians and the help of his family.

In 2006, his son Micah opened a branch of Happy Pest Control in San Diego. After a slow beginning, Micah discovered his talent for internet marketing and our client base grew substantially. In the spring of 2008, Happy Pest Control became incorporated and Steve moved to San Diego to operate our business. Micah has since stepped back from Happy Pest Control to open his own internet marketing firm, Full Monty Marketing, Inc.

Since 2007, our company has seen huge growth and we now have a small staff of talented and qualified technicians to help Steve in the field and in the office. It is very rare these days for a pest control company to send their president out for services, but this personal touch is what makes us unique and separates us from our large impersonal competitors.
