Dimensions
First things first, bed size. Given what I've seen, a full size truck bed with a truck box will do, however a long bed full size truck will do even better. The idea behind our design was to keep the rig low in the bed to maintain full visibility and lowering the center of gravity reducing body roll. 200 gallons of water seriously reduces the amount of stability in emergency maneuvers. Due to its low placement, you need ample room to move around the engine, pump, tank and reels for proper placement. high output spray rig layout
Parts Sourcing
I have no affiliation with any of these sites, though I purchased almost all of my parts at Schaben Industries with the exception of the 200 gallon square tank, as we had it custom made by a plastics fabricator. One of our other trucks has a 150 gallon tank on it, which works fine in a regular bed 2006 Chevy fullsize. A word of warning on the round tanks though, they allow water to freely move around which translates to "highway yachting." For those of us who are addicited to hugging turns at speed with 150 gallons in the rear end you can order anti sway bars from Hellwig Products.
